The above quote is my vibe!

In all things trust God and sit back to watch Him unfold His blessings.

John 1:16 And from his fullness we have all received, grace upon grace.

It's simple really. I love to journey with people as they find their God-given gifts . Yes, I'm talking about YOU! You have gifts, talents, and wonderfulnesses! (yes, that's a word. LOL)

Since this is my "about me" page, I'll get to it.

I'm not one of those people who will hurl credentials at you to try to impress you.

Competence over credentials is my thing.

I gravitate towards nice people, kind people, real people. If you're a kind human being, make good choices for yourself and others, SWEET! You and I could be besties! I don't care about degrees, where you work, or how much money you make, or who your friends are. It's important to me that you're honest, kind, authentic, and have a passion for life!

I have had life experiences that have uniquely equipped me to share my journey, and love, and to walk with others so I can be a beacon of light.

Life is a beautiful dance if you consider it from a perspective of love, hope, and happiness.

  • I choose to love myself and others every day

  • I choose to learn more about myself so I can fully experience life as it comes

  • I choose to share what I've learned so others can spread the light of self-love, confidence, and serenity

  • I choose to never stop any of the above

Let's just say I took the hard road most of my life...yes by choice, but I didn't know it at the time. Hindsight is 20/20, and as I look back, I was horrible to myself. Mentally, emotionally and physically. I bet most of us can say we weren't our own best friend.

I went through a life-altering cancer diagnosis at 28, shortly after, my child was diagnosed with autism, my Father died, my Mother died, I got divorced, then I was a single parent of three, going through college, working a low paying job...just barely keeping it together. All within a 6-year period. IT SUCKED!!!

We've all been through crappy things, and I've done some crappy things. It's called being HUMAN!

But honestly, it is those challenging moments in my life that have brought me to exactly this point, where I'm sitting at the computer, designing this website, in the hopes that I can reach and help you see that no matter what happened back in the day, even yesterday, you are a beautiful human! I mean that.

Fast forward to 2018. Life took a turn, and for the good! I found Jesus, chose my marriage, got involved in program, and started to love up on myself. Serious mindset shift - SERIOUS! I was not going to live my life the way I had been living it. My young adult life I just let things happen. I was going to take over my mind, and take control from 2018 on.

In total, it's been a nearly 8-year journey for me. It's been glorious. I am in a better space mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. I have something to believe in...the power of God and myself.

I say all that to say this:

Change is a choice.

Never easy, but always available. Always!

You might not enjoy the consequences of your choice, but you always have a choice.

I've learned many things later in life. One important one is that being uncomfortable = growth.

Think about it.

Seriously.

Pull up a memory of being uncomfortable. Got it?

There was some type of growth that came from it. I promise you!

Some examples:

  • New job = uncomfortable = learning new skills GROWTH.

  • Scuba Diving = SUPER uncomfortable = ability to go places you've never been before = GROWTH.

  • Building my coaching business = uncomfortable/exciting = meeting new people and making a difference in people's lives =GROWTH!

  • That last margarita with the girls on Saturday = likely queasy & uncomfortable = Now you know your limit, dontcha? = GROWTH.

Since my Know Me Love Me Journey is based on Identity, Values, Truth, and so much more: I'll share a few of my own Journey findings with you.

My values: Authenticity, Self-Love, Creativity, Learning, Kindness, Nature, Stillness, God, Beauty - In no particular order.

Self-Limiting Beliefs I held were: I'm not smart enough, I will never be like (insert name here), I can't possibly do (insert task here), They'll never like me. Blah, Blah, Blah...right?

Truth: for me is owning myself. All of me. Not just the likable parts, but those crusty, ugly, not-so-pretty parts too. All of my beliefs, emotions, conditioning, baggage from past relationships or family issues, mindset, ideals, and so much more go into making me, Me, and you, YOU!

I say, learn to accept yourself as is and start loving yourself and life! You've only got one shot at this, SERIOUSLY.

The sooner the better.

Living into my truth is so freeing and honest. It's a judgement-free zone these days. It's glorious! It's indescribable. You can have that feeling too!

Gone are the days that I have to pretend to like someone or something. I just own my thoughts, opinions, and voice, and that's that.

I say how it is, or I keep it to myself. I let others have their opinion and their feelings and let it go. I choose not to dwell on the "what if's". Those are killer. Don't do that to yourself. You can "what if" yourself to death.

I have learned that my thoughts, my feelings, my ideas, and my voice matter. I use them as a child of God. Someone who is loved and cherished by the King! I do matter. And you do too!

The Know Me Love Me Journey I've created comes from the very core of my being, from the roots of my entire existence.

It's about a life lived, lessons learned, and love discovered.

I'm so honored that you're here.
